About Catherine Lach
I have been a Financial Advisor for 15 years. Strategic philanthropy and charitable giving are an extension of my personal beliefs and convictions. I can help you implement strategies that will have a long-term impact and enduring difference in your community and create a lasting family legacy.
As a Master Financial Advisor – Philanthropy (MFA-P), I specialize in helping clients articulate their values and support their favorite causes and organizations while significantly minimizing their tax burdens. Most clients have strong goals to make a lasting difference in the world, so my philanthropic planning designation helps me serve their interests and sets me apart, especially in the province of Quebec.
Only 15-20% of Financial Advisors in Canada are women. The CFA Institute of Canada stipulates that women provide a better holistic view, are good listeners and tend to be better at explaining financial concepts, in simple plain language, than men.
Once a gentlewoman hobby farmer, I ran a small apple orchard in the farming community of Saint-Joseph-du-Lac. At harvest time, family, friends and clients helped to pick the produce for donation to local food banks.
Predominantly advising women, business owners, physicians, corporate executives, and their affluent families; I design tailored portfolio solutions and complete wealth plans based on each client’s specific requirements. I am well positioned to address their financial complexities and top priorities.
