About Peter Maranger
Peter’s mission statement is “Earning your trust by ensuring your financial security.” Clients have many choices when it comes to investment and insurance products. Peter takes great personal satisfaction in understanding his clients’ needs and tailoring financial plans and insurance solutions that work best for them. He understands that often these products can be confusing to consumers, and he is able to share his knowledge with his clients using concepts and communication that remove the complications and give them confidence in their financial protection plans. Peter’s clients truly appreciate this level of service.
Before joining Co-operators in 2003, Peter worked for General Electric, in Corporate Finance and GE Commercial Equipment Finance. His responsibility was to provide multi-million dollar financing solutions to companies in the automotive manufacturing sector. Prior to this, he worked for GE Fleet Services, which provides leasing and fleet management solutions to medium and large companies.
Peter started his career in the retail automotive business, spending 11 years within the Ford franchise dealer system, in various positions, such as Fleet Manager, Business Manager and New Car Sales Manager.
Peter has been a Stratford resident for over 30 years. He is married and has four children. He has been very involved in both Stratford area and global community initiatives, volunteering through the Rotary Club, his church, Memorial Baptist Church, and many local charitable organizations. In recognition of his dedication to personal and business excellence, Peter was awarded the Co-operators Community Achievement Award for the Central Ontario Region to recognize his dedication to the improvement of his community. In 2008, he was awarded the highest honour bestowed by the Stratford and District Chamber of Commerce at its Annual Business Excellence Awards Event: the Personal Excellence Award.
