About
Groves Hospital Foundation was established on December 6, 2002, and celebrated its 20th Anniversary in 2022. The Foundation’s purpose is to raise and steward funds to support the vital needs of Groves Memorial Community Hospital, including equipment, technological tools, staff appreciation/education, and capital projects. Groves Memorial Community Hospital services Centre Wellington and its surrounding rural townships, by offering a wide range of acute, primary, diagnostic, and ambulatory care services.
Our Mission: Dedicated to raising and stewarding funds for GMCH, to ensure that the residents of Centre Wellington and surrounding areas receive optimal health care.
Our Vision: To inspire the community to support GMCH – a leader in the provision of excellent, compassionate, rural health care.
Our Motto: Caring for Today. Growing for Tomorrow.
Our Impact
When you give to Groves, you ensure we have the critical funding needed to provide the highest standard of care for our patients, close to home.
As a Foundation, we fundraise annually to meet the ongoing equipment and technological needs of GMCH. Did you know that nearly every piece of medical equipment and supporting technology used at Groves is funded by donors? This includes everything from patient beds, to IV poles, to incubators, to the CT Scanner. Without the support of our community of incredible donors, we would be unable to continue to fund these, and many other, items.
New strides in medical innovations for technology & equipment are made every day, and old equipment eventually reaches its end of life or becomes outdated. Your future Gift to Groves will allow our hospital to stay current and ensures you, your friends, family, and loved ones are able to continue to receive the excellent care you need, close to home. Every piece of patient care equipment at Groves is made possible because of the generous financial gifts we receive from the community. Our drive towards improving patient care is never complete.
