Our Impact
Since the opening of Andy’s House in October 2020, Hospice Muskoka has helped over 400 Muskokans across the wide array of services we provide.
Andy’s House has 9 palliative care rooms, including 1 pediatric room, to ensure that we can serve as many people that need our help as possible. Our beds help to free up space in Acute Care Settings, represent a significant number of reductions in visits to emergency rooms and are a huge cost avoidance to the health care system.
Our plans include the growth of our services in the communities of Gravenhurst and Bracebridge, with satellite offices to provide:
- Pain and Symptom Management
- Grief and Bereavement Support
- Advance Care Planning Assistance
- Legacy Stories
