About Michael Garron Hospital Foundation
Nestled in the heart of East Toronto, Michael Garron Hospital is a vibrant community teaching hospital serving one of Canada’s most diverse communities. For more than 90 years, we have delivered high-quality, patient-centred healthcare to more than 400,000 people in 22 distinct neighbourhoods, from welcoming a new life to facing the end-of-life.
We also develop tomorrow’s healthcare leaders through the largest community and family medicine teaching program affiliated with the University of Toronto.
We aren’t just a hospital. We are the Heart of the East.
Michael Garron Hospital Foundation raises funds and engages our community in support of our hospital. Your donation is an investment in the prosperity of each and every person living in East Toronto. When members of our community are healthy, they are able to reach their full potential and better contribute to their family, neighbourhood, and ultimately, Canadian society.
You care about your community’s well-being now and in the future. A donation to Michael Garron Hospital makes an impact on everyone we care for.
East Toronto is one of Canada’s most diverse communities, with more newcomers, children, elderly people living alone, and refugees than elsewhere in the city. With your support, we will tailor care to the needs of our loved ones and neighbours, accelerate research and learning, and elevate the patient care experience.
Supporting the Heart of the East means supporting the well-being of our vibrant community. Because when people are healthy, everyone around them benefits.
