About
For dozens of Canadian species at risk, habitat protection alone is not enough. Wildlife Preservation Canada saves animals on the brink of extinction in Canada by providing direct hands-on intervention such as conservation breeding and releases.
Our Impact
Since 1985, WPC has supported and contributed to numerous recovery actions across Canada – from Canada’s most endangered frog, the Oregon spotted frog, in BC., to burrowing owls in Canada’s prairies, to a critically endangered songbird in Ontario, to freshwater turtles, pollinators and butterflies across the country, to piping plovers and swallows in the Maritimes.
