As a trusted provider of services, programs and advocacy work, YWCA Edmonton transforms lives & helps build a stronger, healthier, and equitable community for all.
As Edmonton’s largest and longest-serving charitable women’s organization, the YWCA educates, empowers and inspires those we serve through counselling, leadership programs, advocacy, outdoor education, and disability services.
Our Impact
YWCA Edmonton is a strong, reputable voice for women in our city. We lead, support, and advocate for women and families when and where they need us, as we continue to build a world of equality, opportunity, and choice for women.
YWCA Edmonton provides programs and services to over 9,000 people each year — support they depend on every day.
Our Counselling Services offer affordable psychological support to all who need it. We provide more than 3,500 hours of counselling to approximately 400 clients annually.
Our Disability Services serves close to 200 children and adults with disabilities each year, empowering them to achieve their full potential through community support.
Our Camp Yowochas facility is YWCA Edmonton’s highly-regarded outdoor education centre and summer camp, hosting more than 8,300 children, youth, and adults each year.
