Since 1994, Breakfast Club of Canada has been working with partners from all sectors to help children access a nutritious breakfast and reach their full potential. Accredited by Imagine Canada for its effective governance and recognized for its promotion of local food products, the Club helps reach children in all provinces and territories.
We are celebrating 30 years of goals accomplished, obstacles overcome and communities united, none of which would be possible without our incredible donors, and the hard work and dedication of many people across Canada. Over the past three decades, we have had a positive impact on hundreds of thousands of young lives as we have worked toward our vision of a country where all children can access nutritious food at school.
Our Impact
At Breakfast Club of Canada, we believe every child deserves to start the day with the food they need to learn, grow, and thrive.
An initiative that started by serving breakfast to hundreds of children in one school now helps reach hundreds of thousands of children in every province and territory across the country. We are now operating in more than 4,900 breakfast programs and reaching over 880,000 children from coast to coast to coast. Although our job is far from done, the future looks bright. We will continue to work relentlessly to ensure that every child in the country has access to a nutritious breakfast at school.
Our programs are built on partnership—with schools, volunteers, communities, governments, and of course our donors—ensuring that every breakfast is delivered with care, consistency, and cultural sensitivity. Whether in remote communities or urban centres, we work to give all children an equal chance to succeed.
