Since 1974, families across western Ontario have turned to Childcan at the life-altering moment they learn their child has cancer. In that instant, everything changes and no family is ever prepared.

A childhood cancer diagnosis changes everything, not only emotionally, but financially.
It’s estimated that up to one-third of a family’s income may go toward costs associated with the diagnosis at a time when that income may drop as one or more parents reduce work hours to care for their child.
The expenses begin immediately and don’t let up: hospital parking, meals away from home, and travel to and from appointments. Small costs, day after day, can quickly become overwhelming.
