About
CMHA Thames Valley Addiction and Mental Health Services (TVAMHS) is an integrated mental health and addiction agency providing community-based supports and services to individuals living in London and the counties of Elgin, Middlesex, Oxford and South Huron.
CMHA TVAMHS is one of the largest branches in the national CMHA federation, serving communities across three counties with a total population of over 635,000. The organization was established in 2021 when three organizations (Addiction Services of Thames Valley, CMHA Elgin-Middlesex and CMHA Oxford) united to better serve the mental health and addiction needs of the Thames Valley Region.
It is our ongoing mission to ignite hope and foster change by providing mental health and addiction education, supports, and services.
Our Impact
As the current economic crisis, lack of affordable housing, and increased food costs puts even more pressure on Canadians and their mental health, we’re experiencing even more need in our community. Since 2021, we recorded an increase of 61% in mental health and addiction crisis interactions across our region.
But the kindness, compassion, and generosity of our donors, help us provide life-changing care to the thousands of individuals in Thames Valley living with mental illness. Thanks to you, the care and resources available in our community are helping transform experiences of darkness and difficulty into hope, strength, creativity, and resilience.
