About
The Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation is proud to serve as the dedicated fundraising partner for the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital (PSFDH). With a catchment area of over 60,000 patients, we work hand-in-hand with our communities to raise and manage funds for essential projects and services. Our shared goal is to ensure exceptional healthcare remains accessible, close to home.
In 2021, following a comprehensive and collaborative multi-year process, the Great War Memorial Hospital Foundation and the Smiths Falls Community Hospital Foundation united to form the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation. This merger brought together the best of both organizations, amplifying their impact on the lives of those who rely on PSFDH throughout every stage of their journey. While our name has changed, our unwavering commitment to delivering compassionate care within the community has only strengthened!
Our Impact
The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital plays a vital role in our community’s health and well-being. As healthcare continues to advance with new technologies and treatments, the Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation partners with local residents and neighboring communities to ensure these innovations remain accessible close to home.
Our Foundation relies entirely on the generosity of donors to fund critical clinical equipment, as identified by our skilled senior staff and physicians. This commitment allows us to consistently upgrade our technology and provide our doctors, nurses, and healthcare staff with the tools they need to deliver exceptional patient care. Together, we’re ensuring that world-class healthcare is available right here, where it matters most.
“Care close to home means receiving professional and compassionate care with a personal touch, as many of our employees are part of the same community they serve.”
