The Ottawa Network for Education (ONFE) is a trusted community connector and catalyst for student success, working with all four publicly funded school boards in Ottawa. We fuel students and ignite learning through equitable, innovative, and hands-on programming that prepares youth to thrive now and in the future. Grounded in integrity, equity, collaboration, and a commitment to lifelong learning, ONFE brings together educators, volunteers, donors, and partners from across sectors to create solutions that break down barriers and build brighter futures. Through our focus on sustainability, experiential learning, and social responsibility, we’re building an Ottawa where all students thrive.

Our Impact
Each school day, our School Breakfast Program provided over 22,000 students in over 200 schools with a nutritious breakfast and the chance to start their day ready to learn and on equal footing with their peers. That’s nearly 4 million meals per year that are absolutely crucial to the health and well-being of our children and youth.
Last year, Classroom Gardens taught 3,760 students from 103 Ottawa schools the value of gardening and healthy eating.
The Volunteers in Education provided learning support to 8,247 students in 105 Ottawa schools.
