Humanity & Inclusion Canada
About
Humanity & Inclusion is an international humanitarian organization that supports people with disabilities and the most vulnerable populations affected by conflict, disasters, poverty, and exclusion.
For over 40 years, we have been working alongside communities to meet basic needs, promote self-reliance, and enable everyone to live with dignity. Whether providing rehabilitation services, supporting inclusive education, protecting civilians, or supporting survivors of conflicts and disasters, our mission is to ensure that no one is left behind.
Through our work in 58 countries, we defend fundamental rights, inclusion, and the hope for a more just future for all every day.

Our Impact
Every year, Humanity & Inclusion works with millions of the world’s most vulnerable people to help them live with dignity, regain their independence, and build a better future.
Our work focuses on three main areas of intervention:
- Inclusive Development
We promote access to healthcare, rehabilitation, education, and livelihoods for people with disabilities and vulnerable populations. We work to ensure that every person can fully participate in the life of their community.
- Humanitarian Emergency
During conflicts, natural disasters, or forced displacement, our teams respond rapidly to meet the essential needs of affected populations: physical rehabilitation, psychosocial support, protection, humanitarian aid, and the inclusion of the most vulnerable.
- Reducing Armed Violence
Humanity & Inclusion works to protect civilians from the consequences of armed conflict. We support survivors of explosive ordnance and landmines, carry out demining operations, and advocate for better protection of civilian populations.
Key Figures
In 2025, our impact resulted in:
- 1,214,043 people assisted in humanitarian emergencies
- 806,628 people supported through our health initiatives
- 735,909 people reached by our social and inclusion programs
- 609,285 people protected through our armed violence reduction initiatives
- 576,114 people supported by our protection and risk reduction programs
- 400,689 people received rehabilitation services
Behind each of these figures are transformed lives: children returning to school, conflict survivors learning to walk again, displaced families rebuilding their futures, and communities regaining hope.

How your gift will be used
By choosing to make a bequest to Humanity & Inclusion Canada, you are taking a step that brings hope and humanity to people with disabilities and the most vulnerable populations around the world.
Your generosity will provide essential support to people with disabilities, conflict survivors, and families affected by disasters, poverty, and exclusion. Thanks to you, a child will be able to access inclusive education, an injured person will regain their mobility, a displaced family will receive emergency aid, or a community will rebuild its future with dignity.
When crises strike, Humanity & Inclusion Canada’s teams are there to respond to urgent needs, support communities over the long term, and defend the rights of those who are too often forgotten.
While we cannot prevent conflicts, disasters, or injustices, we can take concrete action to reduce their human impact, and this is possible thanks to committed individuals like you.
Through your bequest, you leave behind much more than a donation: you pass on a legacy of solidarity, inclusion, and hope that will continue to transform lives for generations to come.
