About Michel Beauchamp
Me Michel Beauchamp is a notary emeritus. He is a graduate of the Faculty of Law of the University of Ottawa. He practices in Montreal with the firm Beauchamp & Gilbert, notaries inc. His practice focuses exclusively on estates, wills and protective powers of attorney, personal law and family law. He is a lecturer in the Faculty of Law at the Université de Montréal; a trainer for the Chambre des notaires du Québec; and a speaker for the Barreau du Québec, the Canadian Bar Association and Éditions Yvon Blais inc. He was awarded the Medal of Honour by the Chambre des notaires du Québec in 2017. This prestigious distinction from the Chambre des notaires du Québec is intended to highlight an exceptional contribution or achievement by a notary in a particular field whose efforts have reflected on the entire profession. He is also a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners.
He founded Magistrum Formation et conseil inc. in 2016, a legal training company for practitioners.
He is the creator of the online tool for drafting Wills – Clause Testament at Les Éditions Yvon Blais.
He is also Co-President of the CAGP Quebec Chapter.
