Lakeridge Health Foundation supports health care in Durham Region by funding innovative technology, vital medical equipment, critical renovations, education and research at our Oshawa and Whitby Hospitals. This includes the R.S. McLaughlin Durham Regional Cancer Centre.
Support from donors like you is essential to meet our community’s growing health care needs. Government funding only covers basic care. By investing in advanced technologies and resources, we will have what it takes to provide exceptional health care now and equip our Hospitals for the Durham Region of tomorrow.
“When your life gets turned upside down, the last thing you want to worry about is commuting for cancer treatment. Having family and friends close by is part of the healing process. I’m so grateful to have had all aspects of my cancer care in my own community.” Lindie Brown, Grateful Patient
