About

Peace Arch Hospital is a true community hospital, having been built entirely on land that was either donated or purchased by the community. It opened its doors in August, 1954 with just 50 beds, five doctors and 10 nurses. Today, Peace Arch Hospital is one of 12 acute-care hospitals located within the Fraser Health Authority.

Our team has been raising funds and awareness to support health care in the White Rock and South Surrey community since 1988, investing in hospital upgrades and expansion, critically needed medical equipment, and community health programs. Our donors make our work possible and our passionate team of fundraisers works with donors to discuss innovative ways to help achieve their philanthropic goals.

Our Impact

Peace Arch Hospital Foundation raises funds, advocates, and supports initiatives that enhance the hospital campus and the health and wellness of our community. Your donations have a direct impact on the quality of care Peace Arch Hospital provides to our patients and residents. Our passionate and caring team’s number one priority is the prudent stewardship of your gifts and the resulting positive impact on patients and medical staff at Peace Arch Hospital and the entire community.

Your legacy gift will help to enhance health care in the White Rock and South Surrey community, and can support the following areas:

Expansion of the hospital campus. As the population of our service area continues to grow and the demand on our hospital increases, so must our health care campus.
Purchase essential medical equipment. Ensure that Peace Arch Hospital has the most modern, up-to-date and vital pieces of equipment. This includes everything from life-saving diagnostic machines like MRI and CT scanners to everyday equipment like beds and patient care comforts.
Community health initiatives. Support local programs and initiatives to increase and encourage health promotion and wellness through awareness, activation and education programs. We want to help create the healthies community possible.
