About

The Chesley Hospital Foundation was established in 1994 to raise funds for the Chesley Hospital. The Chesley Hospital Foundation raises these funds through the generous support of our community to purchase equipment and facilities for our hospital. In 2024 the Foundation updated its mandate to include Physician Recruitment and Retention.

Our Impact

The Chesley Hospital supports 7000 throughout Arran-Elderslie and surrounding areas. Knowing we will all need medical attention at some point in our lives, having a local hospital is vitally important. By leaving a gift through your estate, you can leave a beautiful tribute to our local healthcare to support generations to come.

Donations support the purchase of hospital equipment and facilities that are necessary to for our physicians, nurses, and technical staff to provide the best care possible to our patients. With your support we are able to purchase life-saving medical equipment, support our rehabilitation facility to get patients back to their own homes, and offer the best care possible. Our team also meets with physicians to determine the needs and challenges of bringing physicians to Chesley on a locum and permanent basis.

How your gift will be used

The Chesley Hospital Foundation supports the Chesley Hospital with both equipment and facilities upgrades, along with physician recruitment and retention. With the support of the community, the Chesley Hospital Foundation is able to purchase the most up to date and essential equipment for our site. The Chesley Hospital Foundation regularly meets with physicians for reviews, and provides housing during a locums stay.
