To inspire our community to be passionately invested in quality health care.
To provide resources to our healthcare professionals to meet the needs of the community.
The Meaford Hospital has been taking care of our community for 70 years. In addition to 24/7 Emergency care, dedicated staff and physicians provide a wide range of primary and ambulatory care to visitors and residents of Grey Highlands, Meaford, Town of the Blue Mountains and beyond.
Meaford Hospital is one of six Grey Bruce Health Services (GBHS) hospitals serving the region.
The Foundation works with the community to ensure that our medical team has the equipment needed to deliver the care they are trained to provide. Contrary to popular belief, new medical equipment and other capital needs are NOT covered by provincial funding. Hospitals are 100% responsible for the purchase of equipment, facility improvements and IT. Funds must be raised in the community to buy everything from blood pressure cuffs and patient beds to hi-tech medical imaging equipment.
