About
Community support has been key to Sainte-Justine’s growth and development for over a century. Sainte-Justine is Canada’s largest mother-and-child teaching hospital and one of the top pediatric centres in North America. Its model is the only one of its kind in the country, bringing researchers, physicians, educators and healthcare professionals together under one roof, along with the Marie Enfant Rehabilitation Centre, the only facility in Canada dedicated exclusively to pediatric rehabilitation.
As a referral hospital, Sainte-Justine has a provincial mandate to provide specialized care to children and mothers-to-be from across Quebec. Sainte-Justine is where many young patients draw their first breath, fight for their survival or get started on a path to a healthier future.
For more than 30 years, CHU Sainte-Justine Foundation donors have been empowering the professionals at Sainte-Justine to innovate and excel.
We are accredited under the Imagine Canada Standards program, a distinction awarded to charitable organizations that are recognized for their best practices, good governance and the transparency of their activities.
Our Impact
Throughout Sainte-Justine’s history, philanthropy has been the force behind numerous scientific breakthroughs. Still today, the donations we receive help to overcome some of the most daunting health-related challenges of our time.
As the hospital’s reputation has grown, so have its needs in terms of qualified professionals, state-of-the-art equipment and advanced research. The Foundation enables Sainte-Justine to keep challenging the limits of the possible to ensure children and families have access to the best facilities, the best science, and the best care.
